Instructor Bio:

Matthew Harrison has dedicated his career to leadership—on the battlefield, in the boardroom, and beyond. A former U.S. Army Paratrooper with the 501st Airborne Infantry Battalion, he led combat and reconnaissance teams through two tours in Iraq, earning multiple leadership and performance awards.

After his military service, Matthew spent nearly a decade in the Nuclear Power Industry as a Leadership Instructor and Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, training teams from front-line supervisors to Chief Nuclear Officers. His expertise in developing high-performing teams and measurable leadership practices earned him a national reputation, including his role as Chair of the Nuclear Organizational Effectiveness Working Group.

In 2021, he transitioned to Executive Director of Operations for Military Resale Solutions, leading global sales teams supporting military commissaries worldwide.

Today, as the founder and lead instructor of Get Real! Leadership & Team Solutions, Matthew brings his passion for practical, authentic leadership to organizations of all sizes—helping teams build trust, accountability, and real-world results.

He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Shenandoah University and an M.S. in Management & Leadership from Liberty University.
